Sorry for being absent for so long. I promise that from now on, I will try to be more regular in posting. Here is a project that I am starting exclusively for a case study for this blog.

Objective: To build and promote a blog.
Target: Making 2K a month in a year time frame.

Approach:

I have picked up a niche of a specific city in USA. I have created a blog at blogger.com Reason I prefer a blog at blogger.com is because it is easier to get good traffic rank with a blogger blog. Besides blogger.com offers so many free goodies, it just solves all the headache of finding plug-ins and installing them.

For next one year I will write 2 articles a week for my blog consistently.

Every month I will spend $50 to get 25 articles written by other content writers. These all articles I will use to promote my site. Very first I will submit these articles to ezinearticles.com and once ezinearticles approves them, will re-write these articles using tools and re-submit same articles to 500+ article directories. I have subscription of uniquearticlewizard and in my opinion their article submission service is best.

For each and every single post in my blog, I will social bookmark the post to 50 social bookmarking sites.

Every week, I will submit my blog to all newly announced directories at digitalpoint forum.

With all this exercise, I intend to generate at least 5000 links a month for my blog.

Total cost to run this operation is a few hours of my personal time and $200 a month to my staff.

I will keep on updating you folks on this case study.
