Nitin,

It's nice to find another independent viewpoint. As I stated in one of my blog posts if Dennis does have a special arrangement with the FTC (which seems likely) then there may be a lot of facts that will remain unavailable for some time if they are pertinent to anything that's going on in this specific drama.

Am I ready to say Dennis has turned over a new leaf?

No.

Do I think we have all the facts to know what's going on here?

No way. And there may be legitimate reasons we can't have them for some time to come.

Nitin,

I don't know you, nor do I believe we've met-- but I appreciate your views here. There are 2 sides (or more) to every story. I'm not interested in slamming Shoemoney-- I just wanted our companies to make money together in a way that is fair to everyone. Things didn't work out. My assertion is that he screwed us and his assertion is the reverse.

The good news is that Scott and Gillian are supportive-- we have discussed Jeremy's actions several times since his post. The more attention Jeremy can get, the more traffic and money he can make on the blog. Plus, he gains support from the spammers that were hurt by my TechCrunch post. Me, if I fight-- I get a few more hits to my personal blog. What's that worth-- about 75 cents in AdSense revenue, if that?

Better for us to keep focused on our local platform and ignore the gossip. And the end of the day, the winner is who has the best company with the happiest customers. Celebrity gossip might be fun, but it's not the same as building a business.

Nitin-- thanks for the balanced view, as opposed to the blind sheep mentality we typically see.
